Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-transferable.

Fitness Pilates
​What is Fitness Pilates? 
Fitness Pilates is based on the original teachings of Joseph Pilates with each exercise designed to make the maximum use of your time by targeting the deep postural muscles of the body, building strength from the inside out and re-balancing your muscles.

Fitness Pilates benefits posture, balance and core strength by toning muscle groups in the abdomen, torso, upper and lower back, while incorporating a breathing technique to energise the body.  Fitness Pilates moves are also designed to work the muscles of the whole body (abdominals, lower back, thighs, buttocks, calves, arms, shoulders) and to gently lengthen them. The result is a body that is properly aligned and at less risk of injury. It is a no-impact class suitable for men and women of all ages, levels and abilities.  With the addition of some gorgeous PureStretch, you will leave feeling strengthened, lengthened, aligned and relaxed!

​What do I need to bring?
Apart from a mat, any equipment used is provided. The equipment we use varies; mini balls; stretchy bands; prickly pods! 

Tuesdays 9.15am and 10.30am at Stainton Village Hall
Wednesdays 9.30am at Penrith Golf Club

Lift Lean
​There is no disputing that lifting something fairly heavy and correctly is beneficial to your physical health…and mental health as it’s a great feeling.  Whilst good for some, lifting weights does not have to be pushing a barbel above your head for a one rep max or bicep curling a dumbbell in front of the mirror in a gym as is so often depicted!  LiftLean is a non-intimidating strength based class using your personal dumbbells so you work at YOUR level. We all know we should be adding more strength work to our exercise program to preserve our muscles and bones.

GREAT FOR MIDLIFE WOMEN …. The benefits of doing high reps / weights you can manage without straining yourself are huge. Heavy weight training isn’t for everyone and this LiftLean class will get you in great shape safely. It’s great for helping you feel positive about your body.
GREAT FOR WEIGHT MANAGEMENT… more muscle density = more calories burned!
GREAT FOR FUNCTIONALITY….. It’s so good to be able to manage every day tasks easily!
GREAT FOR US ALL…. We should all be strengthening our whole body!

Pure Stretch
Discover the incredible benefits of PureStretch!
Improve flexibility, reduce stress, and boost overall well-being with this amazing class.
You don’t need to be flexible.. that’s the whole point…. It helps you to move better! There’s lots of great core strengthening in the class too!!
Say goodbye to tension and hello to a more relaxed you!
Any equipment used is provided; you just need to bring a mat.

Circuits 4 All
Circuits 4 All is exactly that!  This fun, friendly and varied class gives you the opportunity to do an enjoyable workout that’s not only fun but also tailored to suit everyone, regardless of fitness level.
​
Whether you’re a regular to exercise or taking your first steps towards a healthier you, this class includes a diverse range of exercises that promise to keep you engaged and enthusiastic. All equipment is provided. I'd recommend bringing water.

Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga offers all the benefits of traditional yoga ~ improved flexibility, balance, strength, posture, mobility and calm ~ just in a more accessible format. And yes… it’s surprisingly good fun!

And let’s be clear… it’s not just a gentle wave of the arms!  It’s real yoga, using the chair for support and adaptability, making it suitable for absolutely everyone, from beginners to those managing injuries or mobility challenges. With the support of a chair, we explore stretches, balance, strength and calm, finding freedom in movement without the pressure to be perfect.

Come and discover how empowering, mindful and uplifting Chair Yoga can be.
