Fitness Pilates
What is Fitness Pilates?
Fitness Pilates is based on the original teachings of Joseph Pilates with each exercise designed to make the maximum use of your time by targeting the deep postural muscles of the body, building strength from the inside out and re-balancing your muscles. Fitness Pilates benefits posture, balance and core strength by toning muscle groups in the abdomen, torso, upper and lower back, while incorporating a breathing technique to energise the body. Fitness Pilates moves are also designed to work the muscles of the whole body (abdominals, lower back, thighs, buttocks, calves, arms, shoulders) and to gently lengthen them. The result is a body that is properly aligned and at less risk of injury. It is a no-impact class suitable for men and women of all ages, levels and abilities. With the addition of some gorgeous PureStretch, you will leave feeling strengthened, lengthened, aligned and relaxed! What do I need to bring? Apart from a mat, any equipment used is provided. The equipment we use varies; mini balls; stretchy bands; prickly pods! |
Lift Lean
There is no disputing that lifting something fairly heavy and correctly is beneficial to your physical health…and mental health as it’s a great feeling. Whilst good for some, lifting weights does not have to be pushing a barbel above your head for a one rep max or bicep curling a dumbbell in front of the mirror in a gym as is so often depicted! LiftLean is a non-intimidating strength based class using your personal dumbbells so you work at YOUR level. We all know we should be adding more strength work to our exercise program to preserve our muscles and bones.

There’s lots of great core strengthening in the class too!! Say goodbye to tension and hello to a more relaxed you! Any equipment used is provided; you just need to bring a mat. |

Circuits 4 All is exactly that! This fun, friendly and varied class gives you the opportunity to do an enjoyable workout that’s not only fun but also tailored to suit everyone, regardless of fitness level.
Whether you’re a regular to exercise or taking your first steps towards a healthier you, this class includes a diverse range of exercises that promise to keep you engaged and enthusiastic. All equipment is provided. I'd recommend bringing water. |
